Resolution Report Card, Currently

Hello! I'm one of the few NOT watching the Super Bowl today. Instead, I'm taking a break from lesson planning for my ESOL paras to reflect on my 2015 resolutions.

Here's my report card so far:

Over the long Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, we added 2 of the 4 shelves to our new pantry. Then, Hubby ran out of wood screws but hasn't been back to the hardware store. I did order a spice rack, though, that will hang in kitchen pantry. Overall, though, we haven't put a lot of time into our renovations or organizing the garage.

Thanks to the fire inspection this week, I cleaned up lots of the piles in the room while taking down stuff that was hanging from the ceiling. Now the only piles are on or behind my desk. Yay!

I have done very well with cooking more and eating out less in January. I've been cooking 4-5 nights a week, which is awesome compared to what it was in November and December. I've even been planning ahead on Sundays or Mondays and grocery shopping for the whole week instead of 1-2 days at a time. Less pop, on the other hand, has been more of a struggle. I'm working on it, though.

I have not upgraded any of my original TPT products yet. Truthfully, this will probably be a spring break or summer project. I have blogged 4 or 5 times in January, though, so hip hip hooray for that part of my goal.

How are you doing on your New Year's resolutions?
Are you sticking with them or have you given up already?

Hello, February!

It's kinda fun watching old episodes of Walking Dead. I keep thinking, aw, there's so and so. Probably at least half the original cast is gone now.

I'm sort of not looking forward to this week, for no particular reason. Maybe just because last week was super hard with a couple of my kids. Lord, give them a good night's sleep so they can come to school well-rested, and give me an extra dose of patience this week towards them.

I really dislike the cluttered feeling. I'm tired of feeling the cluttered feeling. Now to find the motivation to do something about it this week... Snow day, please? That would help!

Hope you have a great week!
